We are thrilled to be bringing a brand-new Mini Masterminds childcare centre to Leppington in 2027. For us, this was never simply about finding an available block on a map. It was about the families building their lives in this corner of south-west Sydney, and the kind of early learning we want to put within easy reach of them.
Every time we look at a new location, we start from the same question. Where do families need us most?
Leppington answered that one pretty quickly. The suburb is filling up with young families settling into brand-new estates, plenty of them putting down roots here for the very first time, and all those new homes bring a wave of parents working through first-time enrolments, waitlists and the quiet worry of finding a centre that feels right for their child, often with no familiar local name to lean on yet.
We understand how personal that search is. Finding childcare comes down to trust as much as anything else. You are handing your child to other people, and you want to know they will keep them safe, take the time to understand them, and have them a little bit excited to walk in each morning. That is the bar we set ourselves at every Mini Masterminds centre, and it is exactly what we want Leppington families to feel from their very first visit.
Underneath every Mini Masterminds centre sits one straightforward belief. Children learn best when they feel secure, supported and genuinely known by the educators around them.
So our approach is built on play-based learning and strong, one-to-one relationships. Our educators take the time to know each child as an individual: their interests, their personality, the pace they learn at. That kind of engaged, personal attention is the whole difference, and it is what sits at the core of a Mini Masterminds day.
Every enrolled family also gets our weekly enrichment program, included at no extra cost. It covers active play sessions that build coordination and teamwork, hands-on cooking that quietly folds in early maths and a bit of food awareness, second-language exposure through songs and games, and gentle movement sessions that help with focus and settling big feelings. It is how we round out a child’s day beyond the core curriculum, and it gives families real value while giving children more chances to work out what they love.

Leppington has changed enormously. In the space of a few short years it has shifted from a quiet, semi-rural pocket to one of the fastest-growing suburbs in south-west Sydney, and demand for quality early learning here is only heading one way. New housing keeps going up, a town centre is taking shape, and strong transport links into Liverpool, Parramatta and the CBD draw more families to the area every year.
We wanted in early. Being part of the community’s foundation while it is still being laid matters to us, and there is a practical side to it as well: when a centre sits close to where families are actually building their lives, drop-off and pick-up fold neatly into the working day.
