Maisah Ghamraoui – Pedagogy Lead

Maisah brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience to the Mini Masterminds Education Team. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Master of Teaching, providing her with a strong foundation in child development, learning theory, and educational practice. These qualifications support her deep understanding of how children learn and the importance of intentional teaching and responsive learning environments in achieving meaningful outcomes.

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Maisah began her career as a preschool teacher and has since progressed through a range of leadership roles including Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and Centre Director. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in curriculum leadership, mentoring educators, program development, and leading high-quality early learning environments.

In her current role within the Mini Masterminds Education Team, Maisah works closely with centre leaders and educators to strengthen pedagogical practice, curriculum design, and educator capability. She supports services in enhancing their educational programs, embedding reflective practice, and driving continuous quality improvement across centres.

Maisah is particularly passionate about designing learning environments that nurture children’s curiosity, agency, and engagement. She draws inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy, especially the concept of the environment as the “third teacher.” This approach guides her work in creating intentional, aesthetically considered spaces that invite exploration, spark thinking, and support children’s wellbeing and learning.

Beyond her centre-based work, Maisah contributes to the broader early childhood community by facilitating professional learning opportunities for educators and leaders. She regularly leads educational leader sessions, workshops, and professional discussions focused on strengthening pedagogy, curriculum implementation, and reflective practice.

Fun fact: Maisah has a strong passion for creating beautiful and thoughtful spaces. She has a keen eye for detail and enjoys exploring how design, layout, and atmosphere can influence people’s mood, sense of calm, and overall experience. She finds it fascinating how small details in an environment can completely transform how people feel and interact within it.
