Key Details of the 3 Day Guarantee

  • Subsidised Minimum: 72 hours per fortnight which is about 3 days per week for all CCS eligible families.
  • Expanded Entitlement: Up to 100 hours per fortnight for families who meet the activity test or exemptions.
  • First Nations Families: Guaranteed 100 hours per fortnight regardless of activity level.
  • Implementation Date: From 5 January 2026.
  • Income Cap: Families earning over $533,280 annually remain ineligible.
