Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of educators through on-the-floor mentoring, coaching, and support
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging, holistic learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child in your care
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families and maintain open communication
  • Collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to maintain a high-quality service
  • Foster a positive team culture and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and service policies
 
Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Previous experience leading a room and mentoring educators
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Current Child Protection training/certificate
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child development principles
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality education and care
